This is Mrs. Craig’s second grade class.  Performing “Taxi Taxi” followed by an improvised rainstorm.  Notice the student conductor directing the rainstorm to play forte or piano.  She also CUES a few instruments to play out at various times.

This is Mr. Teller and Mrs. Stewart’s 3rd grade classes performing “Three Little Monkeys.”   In the orff process, every student learns every part.   At the end of the learning session parts are assigned to the appropriate instruments.   Some students sing and some students play, but all students learn and play every part along the way to build skill and mastery.

Mrs. August and Mrs. Hyatt’s First graders performed this song to practice their steady heartbeats and mallet technique.  The spoken word chain was created from a previous activity where students shared their experiences from the Winter Break.
