KINDERGARTEN – We are continuing to develop our music heartbeats and now we are also exploring the types of voices that we have: singing, speaking, whisper, and shout!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1st GRADE – We had a visit from Chompy (Mr. G’s puppet helper) and learned a special song at the instruments to perform steady heartbeat.

2nd GRADE – We finished learning the last songs for our musical this week.  Next week we will begin rehearsing on the risers!

3rd GRADE – The word of the week was TEMPO!!!  We practiced identifying allegro, moderato, and adagio tempos in music.

4th GRADE – We took a visit to “Pitch Hill” which is a great storybook I use to teach students about solfege singing.  We learned the hand syllables for Ti and Super Do!

5th GRADE – We put the finishing touches on our storybook compositions and performances.  Next week we will share these with our kindergarten book buddy classes!
